Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The substance is not reactive to organic solvents and thus the stability of the substance is not considered critical. At neutral conditions and room temperature, no reaction of the chemical groups in the substance (double bonds and ester group) with most common solvents will occur. Specifically, the substance is hygroscopic, light sensitive, and incompatible with strong oxidizing agents, acids, and bases; it may undergo spontaneous polymerization when exposed to direct UV-light and heat. Polymerization may therefore take place if the substance is mixed with a solvent with double bonds and if the mixture is exposed to UV-light or heat. If the substance is protected against light and heat, no or very limited polymerization is expected to take place.

Additional information

No validated method exists for the testing of stability in organic solvents therefore no corresponding report is available.
