Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Vapour pressure: negligible (<<0.001 Pa)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Based on Annex VII column 2, for a substance having a melting point between 200 °C to 300 °C only estimated results need to be provided. As the substance is a solid with high boiling point (decomposed at 251 degree C without boiling), it can be expected that the substance has a very low vapour pressure. The estimated value of 1.64E-24 Pa was calculated via EPI suite tool using the modified Grain method, which is consistent with the expectation. Thus available information is sufficient to conclude that the vapour pressure is negligible and will bring no significant concern on safety in potential exposure. Thus no further test is required.
