Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Stable in organic solvents

Additional information

According to Column 1 of Annex IX, a stability in organic solvents study does not need to be conducted as the stability of the substance in organic solvents is not considered to be critical. Hesperidin, being a flavonoide consisting of a hesperitin unit bound to a carbohydrate moiety is not considered critical as none of the two moieties is expected to react with organic solvents, unless deliberately forced to by catalytic conditions such as extreme pH etc. for example for acetylation. Under ambient conditions stability towards organic solvents is not of concern.
