Additional information

Although the key study by Bringmann & Kuhn (1980) is non-GLP and is non guideline, it is considered suitable for use as a key study. In the Draft EU RAR (2008) for vinyl acetate the EC3 of 6mg/L has been considered to be the NOEC-value for microorganisms and used to derive the PNEC. The supporting study, Bringmann & Kuhn (1980), is also cited in the Draft EU RAR.
