The biodegradability of Primid QM-1260 was performed to activated sludge from a municipal sewage treatment plant. It was tested under aerobic static conditions. The calculated biodegradation ratio with respect to DOC reached 7 % for Primid QM-1260 and 100 % for sodium benzoate. Thus, it can be concluded that no significant biodegradation of Primid QM-1260 occurred after duration of 28 days.
The test substance meets the persistence criteria from the available data of hydrolysis and degradation. Thus, the simulation test and degradation products determination are not needed furtherly.
