Endpoint:
auto-ignition temperature (liquids)
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
2009
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.15 (Auto-Ignition Temperature (Liquids and Gases))
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
yes
Auto-ignition temperature:
446 °C
Atm. press.:
1 013 hPa
Remarks on result:
other:

The tests were performed at an atmospheric pressure of 995 mbar - 1006 mbar. From these test runs a corrected* auto-ignition-temperature of 446 °C results. * Correction performed according to EN 14522.

Conclusions:
The auto-ignition temperature of test substance was determined to be 446°C
Executive summary:

In this guideline (EU A. 15) study conducted to GLP standards, the test material (EC 231-272-0) was determined to have an auto-ignition temperature of 446°C

Description of key information

Study conducted to recognised training guidelines with GLP

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
446 °C

Additional information

The auto-ignition temperature of test substance was determined to be 446°C (Annex A.15)
