Additional information

If the substance is exposed to water, it will not evaporate into the atmosphere from water surfaces. The calculation of Henry’s constant of 2.0 x 10-11Pa m³/mol (20°C) demonstrates that Diuron is extremely non-volatile. In addition, results from a laboratory study for volatility of parent compound under the various conditions tested, determined that Diuron has a moderate potential to adsorb to suspended solids and sediment and only a low tendency to leach considering a Koc of 395 (arithmetic mean), corresponding to a log Koc of 2.5.
