Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The EC10reproduction is selected for the chemical safety assessment, since it is the most sensitive endpoint.

The analytical results obtained during the study showed that the substance was instable within 3 days of exposure, under testing conditions, and depending on the test concentration. Hence, time weighted averages were calculated based on HPLC measurements of freshly prepared and solutions aged for maximum 3 days: 0.13, 0.26, 0.79, 1.73, 3.89 mg/L. These values correspond to 52%, 52%, 79%, 86.5% and 97.25% of the nominal concentrations. There is an indication that the decomposition of the test substance is a function of the temperature. Disappearance of the test substance was accelerated during week 3 of exposure were the temperature was between 22 and 26°C when compare to weeks 1 and 2, where the temperature was 20 ± 2°C. E.g. aged solutions on day 7 and day 21 showed the following degradation values (day 7 vs day 21: 7/21): 0/0 - 12/0 - 54/3 - 66/33 and 74.2/45.7 % of nominal concentrations 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2 and 4 mg/L. The suitability of the analytical method was verified by using QC samples at 0.1 and 10 mg/L, which showed recoveries of 75.7% (0.1 mg/L) to 104.9% (10 mg/L). Furthermore, recoveries of freshly prepared solution at test start and each renewal were between 84.0% and 114.5%.
