Description of key information

The substance will not be degraded by direct photolysis in water, since it does not absorb light at wavelengths ≥ 290 nm.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

According to testing guidelines OECD 315 and OPPTS 835, a tier 1 estimation was performed, based on measured UV/VIS absorption spectra. Since the substance does not absorb at λ ≥ 290 nm, direct photolysis in water cannot take place.
