Workers - Hazard for the eyes

Local effects

Hazard assessment conclusion:
no hazard identified

Additional information - workers

THEIC has a very low toxicological potential. In the subacute oral toxicity study no effects were observed at the highest recommended dose of 1000 mg/kg/day. Further, THEIC did not exhibit any irritating or sensitizing activity in all animal tests.

Correspondingly, no DNELs can be derived.
