Additional information

Only one reliable study was available (Dion 1982). There is no information relative to the type (closed vs open) of vessels used to take into account the volatile potential. However, analytical monitoring was provided showing that the concentration of the test substance did not evolve during 48 hours. As a result, this data was flagged as a key study, giving a 48h-LC50 of 220 mg/L in Brachydanio rerio. In the other study (Samel 2000), there was neither indication of the type of vessel used, nor analytical information allowing to assess the maintenance of the test substance; preventing to attribute a high reliability to this data.
