Additional information

A 96-hour semi-static acute fish (Danio rerio) toxicity test was conducted for amyl cinnamic aldehyde in accordance with EU method C.1. Test solutions were prepared using a direct weighing and dilution method of preparation to provide 5 litre volumes of test medium that was aerated and replaced every 24 hours. The test was conducted at nominal test concentrations of 0.6, 1.1, 2.1, 4.3 and 8.6 mg/L.

The 96-hour LC50 was found to be 3.0 mg/l. The study is considered to be Klimisch 2, reliable with restrictions.
