Details on results:
The concentration of dissolved the sample was calculated by means of the determined boron concentration. The resulting mean calculated water solubility of dimethylamine-borane (1:1) is 121 g/L at 20 °c ± 0.5 °C.
Conclusions:
The water solubility of dimethylamine-borane (1:1) was determined according to OECD 105 and is 121 g/L at 20°C.
Executive summary:

The examination of the water solubility at 20 °C ± 0.5 °C of dimethylamine-borane (1:1) was performed in triplicate according to the OECD guideline 105. The determination of the concentration of dimethylamine-borane (1:1) was carried out by quantifying boron (B) by means of inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) using external calibration. Moreover, the pH of each sample solution was measured and the Tyndall effect was examined.

The water solubility of dimethylamine-borane (1:1) is 121 g/L at 20°C.

Description of key information

The examination of the water solubility at 20 °C ± 0.5 °C of dimethylamine-borane (1:1) was performed in triplicate according to the OECD guideline 105.
