Description of key information

Dimethylamine-borane (1:1) is a non-flammable and non-explosive, white crystalline solid having a melting point of approximately 36 °C and a boiling point of 49°C (at 0.01 mmHg). The substance has a water solubility of 121 g/L which supports the low log Kow value of -3.28 estimated by EpiSuite v4.1 / KOWWIN v1.68. Dimethylamine-borane (1:1) has a density of 0.761 g/ml at 20°C and a vapour pressure of 0.14 mbar at 25°C. Additionally, the test item has a coarse fraction > 2000 μm of 37 wt.-%. The fine fraction has a median particle size (D50) of 656 μm.
