Description of key information

In the acute immobilization test to Daphnia magna (STRAUS) the effects of the limit concentration of 100 mg/L of the test substance were determined according to OECD 202 (2004) and Council Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 Method C.2 (2008) over a period of 48 h.
Twenty daphnids were exposed to the limit concentration and the control. The limit concentration and the control were analysed by LC-MS/MS after 0 h (fresh media) and 48 h (old media). At the nominal concentration of 100 mg/L no effect was observed on Daphnia magna. Thus the EC50 was determined as >100 mg/L.
