Description of key information

In a GLP study according to OECD TG 102 (1995) and EC method A.1 (2008) using a capillary tube in metal block, the melting range of trans-N1,N1,N4,N4-tetrakis(2-hydroxyethyl)-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxamide was determined to be 451.6 K (178.5 °C) to 455.3 K (182.1 °C).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
182 °C
