Description of key information

Trans-N1,N1,N4,N4-tetrakis(2-hydroxyethyl)-1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxamide was tested for hydrolysis according to OECD TG 111 (2004) and EC method C.7 (2008). The substance was found stable (half life > 1 year at entivonmental temperatures) at pH values 4 and 7 and slightly hydrolytically instable at pH 9 with half-lives of 7.04 days at 50 °C and 61.8 days at 30 °C. At 20 °C no degradatation could be observed after 30 days.
