Conclusion on classification

The most sensitive species is Daphnia magna: LC50 (48h) = 2.47 mg/kg.

The submission substance is not readily biodegradable.

Log Pow≥ 3.0 (3 .1) and BCF > 100 (500 -600).

Therefore, according to Directive 67/548/EEC, the submission substance could be classified as

Dangerous for the environment, N; toxic to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic einvironment: R 51/53. No background information is available for the official EU classification R50/53. In order to avoid discrepencies the official classification should be maintained.
