DMH is very stable to hydrolysis at all pH’s from 5 to 9

DMH is readily biodegradable.

DMH does also biodegradaes in water/sediment systems over 40 to 80 days (in less than 3 months) at 20°C.

DMH does not bioccumulate in fish.

DMH is considered to be mobile in soil.
