Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

(48-h) EC50: >864 mg/L mobility Daphnia magna, reliability 1.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A 48-hour EC50 value of >864 mg/L and NOEC of ≥864 mg/L have been determined for the effects of the test substance on mobility of Daphnia magna. The result is expressed in terms of the estimated concentration of the parent substance based on measured DOC concentration of the stock solution. However it is likely that the test organisms were primarily exposed to the hydrolysis products of the substance.

The read-across is supported by predictions for the hydrolysis product 2-methylpropylsilanetriol (48-h EC50 value of 3100 mg/L).
