Conclusion on classification

Experimental studies investigating the short-term effects on three aquatic trophic levels are available. Algae turned out to be the most sensitive species with an EL50 (72 h) of 23.54 mg/L and an EL10 (72 h) of 1.76 mg/L. In combination with the result from the biodegradation study which does not indicate rapid biodegradation (inherently biodegradable, not fulfilling specific criteria) the substance needs to be classified as Chronic Category 3 (H412) according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 considering the 6th ATP.
