Additional information

The boiling point of γ-butyrolactone is 204.6 °C as determined by use of a vapor pressure graph (BASF, 1989) and as similarly reported in a number of reliable, peer reviewed, data sources. Although, for some sources, no specific information was provided regarding atmospheric pressure, results for this endpoint are typically reported at standard pressure (101.325 kPa). Slight decomposition of the substance near the boiling point temperature was reported.
