Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information: Remove contaminated clothing
After inhalation: Supply fresh air; consult doctor in case of complaints.
After skin contact: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.
After eye contact:
Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
After swallowing:
Rinse out mouth and then drink plenty of water. Seek medical treatment.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing agents:
Foam
Water
Carbon dioxide
Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions.
Special hazards caused by the substance, its products of combustion or resulting gases:
In case of fire, the following can be released:
Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide
Sulphur dioxide (SO2)
Protective equipment:
Wear self-contained respiratory protective device.
Wear fully protective suit.
Additional information
Collect contaminated fire fighting water separately. It must not enter the sewage system.

Accidental release measures
Person-related safety precautions: Avoid formation of dust.
Measures for environmental protection: Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.
Handling and storage
Handling:
Information for safe handling:
Prevent formation of dust.
Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace.
Provide suction extractors if dust is formed.
Waste air is to be released into the atmosphere only via suitable separators.
Ensure that suitable extractors are available on processing machines
Wear suitable respiratory protective device when decanting larger quantities without extractor
facilities.
Information about fire - and explosion protection: Keep ignition sources away - Do not smoke.
Storage:
Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles:
Store in cool, dry conditions in well sealed receptacles.
Information about storage in one common storage facility: Store away from foodstuffs.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Ingredients with limit values that require monitoring at the workplace: Not required.
Personal protective equipment:
General protective and hygienic measures: Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work.
Respiratory protection: Avoid formation of dust.
Respiratory protection is necessary at dust formation. Use dust protection mask or a respiratory protection apparatus with filter P2 or P3 (colour: white).
Observe further additional national regulations concerning respiratory protection. In exceptional cases (e.g. exceeding of the air limiting value) respiratory protection is required. Use dust protection mask or respiratory protection apparatus with filter P2. Observe further national regulations concerning respiratory protection.
Protection of hands: Due to missing tests no recommendation to the glove material can be given for the product/ the preparation/ the chemical mixture.Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation
Material of gloves: Nitrile rubber, NBR. The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Recommended thickness of the material: ≥ 0.11 mm; Penetration time of glove material Value for the permeation: Level ≥ 8 h; the exact break trough time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed.
Eye protection: Safety glasses
Body protection. protective work clothin
Stability and reactivity
Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided:
Processing temperature over: 45 °C (storage) , Humidity; Stable up to decomposition point.
Materials to be avoided: Do not store together with oxidizing and acidic materials (Strong acids, oxidizing agent)
Dangerous reactions Reacts with strong acids and oxidizing agents.
Dangerous decomposition products: Reacts with acids releasing sulphur dioxide.
Small quantities of formaldehyde may be formed
Disposal considerations
Product:
Recommendation
Must not be disposed together with household garbage. Do not allow product to reach sewage
system.
Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
Uncleaned packaging:
Recommendation: Dispose of packaging according to regulations on the disposal of packagings.
