The kinematic viscosity of (Z)-octadec-9-enol is estimated to be ca. 3.3 - 4.0 mm2/s at 100°C.

Additional information

There is no measured viscosity for the submission substance. However, the viscosity has been assessed based on available data for hexadecan-1-ol and octadecan-1-ol. Hexadecan-1-ol and Octadecan-1-ol have measured kinematic viscosity values of 3.394 mm2/s at 100°C and 4.006 mm2/s at 100°C respectively with the use of a capillary method in accordance with ASTM D446/07 test method. The results are considered to be reliable and are used as weight of evidence that the viscosity of the submission substance is expected to be 3.3 - 4.0 mm2/s at 100°C.
