Conclusions:
According to the results in this gene mutation assay the test substance 2-ethoxyethanol was not mutagenic to the microbial strains of Salmonella typhimurium (TA 98, TA 100, TA 1535, TA 1537, TA 1538) and Escherichia coli (WP2uvrA).
