Macroscopic investigation of cutaneous irritation according to the method of the official Journal of the European Communities showed that the test substance 2 -ethoxyethanol was non-irritant.
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Interpretation of results:
- not irritating
- Remarks:
- Migrated information
- Conclusions:
- The skin irritating potential of the test substance 2-ethoxyethanol was evaluated according to the Directive annex: 92/69/EEC: July 1992 on the skin of New Zealand albino rabbits. The test substance was applied undiluted occlusively for 4 hours. The result showed that the test substance was not irritating.
