Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

From the experimental Q(m) (N2) values and calculated surface areas, one may then calculate the values of Q(m) (EGME)eq equivalent to Q(m) (N2) for the surface areas of the samples. A comparison of the Q(m) (EGME)eq values with the apparent Q(m) (EGME)ap values from the isotherms defined the extend of EGME uptake by penetration (or site-specific interaction) for each of the solid samples.

Values of Q(m) (N2), Q(m) (EGME)eq, Q(m) (EGME)ap, and BET (N2) surface areas:

 Sample  Q(m) (N2) (mg/g)  BET (N2) area (m^2/g)  Q(m) (EGME)eq (mg/g)  Q(m) (EGME)ap (mg/g)  Q(m) (EGME)ap/Q(m) (EGME)eq
