Two studies focusing on bioaccumulation of TCPP are as follows:

1. test for the degree of bioconcentration in fish for TCPP, in accordance with OECD guideline 305C.

2. prediction by standard QSAR methods, from the TGD.

In bioaccumulation study, aquatic bioconcentration factors (BCF) for fish ranged from 0.8 to 2.8, and this value is similar to the value 2.59 which is calculated by QSAR. The results reflect no propensity for TCPP to partition from water into tissues.
