Experimental value of boiling point at 101.325kPa : 311.6

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
311.6 °C

Additional information

The boiling point was determined by differential scanning calorimetry according to Method A.2 "Boiling Temperature" of Commission Regulation (EC) of 30 May 2008, Method 103 "Boiling Temperature / Boiling Range" of OECD Guidelines and GLP. No deviation from the guidelines was observed.

Before determination of the boiling point of the test item, the temperature accuracy of the DSC was assessed using an 1,2-Propanediol reference standard (purity 99%). The boiling point was determined to be 187.4 ±0.5 °Cand within the defined tolerance ( 187.0 ±0.5 °C).The DSC was therefore considered acceptable for use.
