The melting point was determined by Differential Scanning Calorimetry method according to Method A1 "Melting Point / Melting Range" of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008, Method 102 "Melting / Freezing temperature " from OECD Guidelines and GLP. No deviation from the guidelines was observed during the test.

Before determination of the melting point of the test item, the temperature accuracy of the DSC was assessed using a Tin wire, Indium wire, Zinc wire references standards. The melting point of the references standards were determined to be in the defined tolerance of each these standard.The DSC was therefore considered acceptable for use
