Description of key information

The atmospheric oxidation half-life of sodium 2-(2-dodecyloxyethoxy) ethyl sulphate was estimated using the level III multimedia model. It was estimated that the substance is not persistent in air medium as the half life period of sodium 2-(2-dodecyloxyethoxy)ethyl sulphate in air is only 0.35 days. This indicates that sodium 2-(2-dodecyloxyethoxy)ethyl sulphate is rapidly phototransformed in air.
