Conclusion on classification

Invertebrates are the most sensitive species with respect to the toxic effects of 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-oxopiperidinooxy with an acute LC50of 74 mg/L. A long term study is available for this species, a No Observed Effect Level of 2.3 mg/L was derived. Based on the results from the long term study it was concluded that no environmental classification was required according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
