Description of key information

In a study conducted to the appropriate guideline and in accordance with GLP, 4-Oxo Tempo did not demonstrate explosive properties.

Additional information

Two studies have been included in the dossier (I Livingston 1999, I Livingston 2011); however the 2011 study is taken as the key study due it being a GLP study and was performed in accordance with the most recent guidelines.

Both studies conclude that 4-oxo Tempo cannot be considered explosive.

Justification for classification or non-classification

 

As a result of the studies performed it can be concluded that 4-Oxo Tempo is not explosive, therefore classification as explosive is not required.
