Additional information

The UVCB substance WS400123 did not exhibit toxic effects to aquatic organisms of three trophic levels up to the limits of its water solubility. Therefore, no PNECs can be derived. The substance has a very low vapour pressure and thus exposure via air is unlikely. In the oral repeat dose study in rats no toxic effects were observed at the highest dose of 1000 mg/kg body weight/day. Thus, a DNEL and correspondingly a PNEC for secondary poisoning cannot be derived.

Conclusion on classification

Based on the results of the available studies no classification for environmental hazards is necessary according to European classification rules [Directive 67/548/EEC and Regulation (EC) 1272/2008].
