Toxicity to soil macroorganisms
On the basis of available data from
secondary sources, toxicity to soil macroorganisms study was carried out
for 14 days. The study was performed in accordance with the OECD
Guideline 207 (Earthworm, Acute Toxicity Tests). Eisenia fetida was used
as a test organism. Limit test was performed using a test chemical
concentration of 10000 mg/kg. On the basis of effect on mortality of the
test organism Eisenia fetida, the LC50 value was determined to be >
10000 mg/kg soil dw.
Toxicity to terrestrial arthropods
In accordance with column 2 of Annex
IX of the REACH regulation, the study does not need to be conducted
because direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely
considering its use as a whitening agents for paper & textile industries
and as a bleaching & colouring agents.

arthropods endpoint can also be considered for waiver as per inaccordance
with column 2 of Annex IX of the REACH regulation, the study does not
need to be conducted because direct and indirect exposure of the soil
compartment is unlikely considering its use as a whitening agents for
paper & textile industries and as a bleaching & colouring agents.
