Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

thermally stable

Additional information

The screening test for thermal stability and stability in air, DTA, showed that test item is thermically stable

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to the CLP Regulation (EC 1272/2008), Section 2.8, self-reactive substances and mixtures are thermally unstable liquid or solid substances or mixtures liable to undergo a strongly exothermic decomposition even without participation of oxygen (air). This definition excludes substances and mixtures classified according to this part as explosives, organic peroxides or as oxidising.

The screening Test for Thermal Stability and Stability in Air, DTA, showed that no decomposition or chemical transformation were found below 150°C.

In conclusion, the available experimental data is adequate for classification and labelling andaccording to the CLP Regulation (EC 1272/2008) test substance is non classified as self-reactive.
