Additional information

Acute and chronic toxicity tests on earthworms (Eisenia fetida) resulted in no mortality at the highest concentrations tested, resulting in a LC50 of >1000 mg test item/kg dw and a NOEC of ≥4.38 mg test item/kg soil dw for mortality, growth, reproduction and feeding activity.

No oral and contact toxicity on honeybees was observed up to 101.4 µg a.i./bee (measured) and 100 µg a.i./bee (nominal).

The registered substance had no negative influence on the turnover of organic carbon and nitrogen in soil up to a concentration of 1.07 mg/kg soil dw.

The substance showed no acute, short- and long-term hazard potential to birds as evidenced by the provided data being above or equal the limit doses as specified in the corresponding testing guidelines.

Therefore, based on the available information, there is no indication for bioaccumulation of the substance or secondary poisoning and there is no indication for a toxic effect on the terrestrial environment.
