Key result
Water solubility:
550 mg/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Loading of aqueous phase:
1 200 mg/L
Incubation duration:
96 h
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
>= 5.95 - <= 6.04
Conclusions:
The water solubility of the test item was determined to be 550 mg/L mg/L at 20 °C using the shake-flask method for the performance of the main test. In conclusion, the test item is moderately soluble in water (100-1000 mg/L).
Executive summary:

The purpose of this study was to determine the water solubility of the test item which is specified by the saturation mass concentration of the test item in water at 20 ± 1 °C. The study was performed in accordance with the EC Method A.6 of Regulation (EU) No. 260/2014 “Water Solubility” laying down test methods pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) and in accordance with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) guideline no. 105, "Water Solubility", adopted July 27, 1995. A preliminary test showed that the solubility of the test item was greater than 100 mg/L. Based on this result, and in accordance with the current guidelines, the shake flask method was used. In the definite test, the solubility of the test item in distilled water at 20°C was found to be 0.55 g/L.

Description of key information
