Description of key information

The vapour pressure of 5-Amino-o-cresol was 8.5 × 10(-6), 1.8 × 10(-5) and 5.9 X 10(-4) hPa at 20, 25 and 50°C respectively, calculated using the Antoine constants (OECD 104).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 hPa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The vapour pressure of 5-Amino-o-cresol was determined following the OECD 104 test guideline and the GLP.

Vapour pressure of the test material was determined by effusion method (vapour pressure balance) within the temperature range of 50.3°C to 71°C.

The vapour pressure values for 20, 25 and 50°C were calculated, using the Antoine constants:

P (20°C) = 8.5 x 10- 6hPa

P (25°C) = 1.8 x 10- 5hPa

P (50°C) = 5.9 x 10- 4hPa
