The test item N,N-Bis(2 -hydroxyethyl)-p-phenylenediamine sulphate monohydrate is a light grey powder at room temperature. It was not fused before weighing. The test item shows the earliest possible boiling at 125 deg C (at 986 mbar).

The experimentally determined vapour pressure of the test item N,N-Bis(2 -hydroxyethyl)-p-phenylenediamine sulphate monohydrate at 20 deg C of 2.5X10 -6 mbar (see DSC diagrams 1 & 2 'Experimental determined vapour pressure curve') is not in the recommended range of 1 to 1000 mbar for DSC measurements.

Therefore an estimation procedure according to the test method A.4 'Vapour Pressure according to the Dynamic Method' as described in the Official Journal of the European Communities L383A, Appendix 1, Estimation Method, newest version (Robert S. This method is applied for vapour pressures between 103 to 10 -7 mbar.
