EC number: 273-227-8
CAS number: 68953-84-4
1) Key: An acute toxicity test with invertebrates (Daphnia magna) (48h) (K1) (OECD 202 & GLP) resulted in an EC50 (immobility) > 1.8 mg/L and a NOEC = 0.36 mg/L (both represent measured values).
short-term Daphnia study (Putt, 1995) resulted in an unbound EC50 value
(immobility, 48h), however a NOEC of 0.36 mg/L was established for D.magna
after 48h of exposure. A Water Accommodated Fraction (WAF) was used
to expose the organisms to chemical concentrations equal or above the
water solubility. As this test was performed according to the
internationally accepted guidelines, the results were found suitable for
risk assessment and classification purposes.
