Identification of vanillin in a perennial herb (Artemisia stolonifera, Asteraceae) which is common in Korea and used as a folk medicine.

Conclusions:
Vanillin has been detected in the perennial herb Artemisia stolonifera (Asteraceae) and showed to have relatively weak cytotoxicity against the five tested tumor cells.
