Description of key information

The melting point of the substance has been measured as -25 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
-25 °C

Additional information

One melting point study is available for the substance: a GLP study, conducted according to OECD Guideline 102/EU Method A1, in which the freezing point of the test material was determined in a jacketed freezing tube maintained at approximately -32 °C. The test material was stirred continuously and duplicate determinations made. The freezing temperature recorded in the two determinations was -24.5 and -25 °C, giving a mean value of -25 °C (to the nearest °C).
