Description of key information

The auto-ignition temperature of the substance has been measured as 345 °C at about 102 kPa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
345 °C

Additional information

In a GLP study, conducted according to EU Method A.15, the auto-ignition temperature of the test material was determined by adding a small volume (100 µL) of test material to a heated flask in a oven and observing the material over a 10 minute period. A sudden change in temperature and the appearance of a flame was taken as evidence of ignition.

The mean auto-ignition temperature from 5 determinations was 345 °C at about 102 kPa, with a mean time delay of 13 seconds. The mean highest non-ignition temperature was 343 °C.
