Hydrolysis

In a GLP study, conducted according to OECD Guideline 111/EU Method C.7, the stability to hydrolysis of the test material was investigated at pH 4, 7 and 9 at 50 °C in the dark in the absence of oxygen for a period of five days. Changes in the concentration of test material were monitored after 5, 27, 51 and 120 h using HPLC analysis with UV detection at 210 nm.

No conclusive evidence was obtained for significant hydrolysis (>10 %) of the test material at any of the pH values examined (the loss of 30 % at pH 4 after 120 h was considered an experimental artefact).
