Results and discussion
- Details on results:
- The viability of cells incubated with 0.5 mM test substance was reduced to app. 90% (estimated from illustration given in the publication); concentrations of 1 mM and higher were significantly cytotoxic.
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- TREGDMA was significantly cytotoxic to human THP-1 monocytes in concentrations of 1 mM and higher.
- Executive summary:
In a cytotoxicity assay human THP-1 monocytes were incubated with TREGDMA in concentrations of 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 8 mM corresponding to 0, 143.16, 286.32, 572.64, 1145.28 and 2290.56 mg/L based on molecular weight (286.32 g/mol) for 48 h. The viability of cells incubated with 0.5 mM TREGDMA was reduced to app. 90% (as estimated from illustration given in the publication); concentrations of 1 mM and higher were significantly cytotoxic.
