Bei biochemischen Untersuchungen nach 2 bzw. 4 Wochen 
wurde eine signifikante Erhoehung der
Glucose-6-Phosphat-Dehydrogenase, der
Isocitronensaeuredehydrogenase, der Sorbit-Dehydrogenase,
der GOT und des Gesamtcholesterols in der Leber
festgestellt. Die Aktivitaet der alkal. Phosphatase war
reduziert. Die Aktivitaet der Glutaminsaeure-Dehydrogenase
war nur nach 2 Wochen erhoeht, auch das Lebergewicht war 
nur nach 2 Wochen erhoeht, nach 4 Wochen wurden wieder
normale Werte bestimmt. Dies deutet nach Angaben der 
Autoren darauf hin, dass die beobachteten Veraenderungen
reversibel waren.
