Description of key information
Thermal stability and the stability on air of potassium sorbate was evaluated according to OECD Guideline 113.
Additional information
The test substance shows an endothermic effect (transformation process) in the temperature range 150-175 °C and an exothermal effect in the temperature range 205-320 °C with an energy of 221 J/g.
