The low BCF values estimated for Sorbic acid indicate a low potential to bioaccumulate in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. As the sorbic anion is the one which may be relevant for bioaccumulation, and as the potassium cation does not have a potential to bioaccumulate, it can be concluded that there is a low potential for bioaccumulation for potassium sorbate as well.
