Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The determination of the boiling point was carried out (EU mehtod A2 /OECD 103) by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) under nitrogen in a standard aluminium crucible at a heating rate of 10 K/min.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The measurement in an aluminium crucible with an aperture showed an endothermic effect (transformation process) in the temperature range 145–175 °C, and an exothermal effect in the range of 200–345 °C with an energy of 241 J/g. The test substance did not show any endothermic effect between the endothermic transformation process and the temperature where the exothermal decomposition began. Thus, a boiling point at atmospheric pressure does not exist.
